About Strong Beers
Strong Beers – Winter Festival returns to Coimbra from March 7-9, 2025, at Mercado Municipal D. Pedro V, for its 3rd edition. This event is dedicated to strong and complex craft beers, perfect for the winter season.
With 18 confirmed breweries (5 from the Coimbra region, 10 national and 3 international) and over 60 different beers, the festival offers a unique sensory experience for craft beer enthusiasts.
The program includes live music, stand-up comedy with Miguel Torres, performances by Hugo F. and Pedro Braga, food pairings, guided tastings, meet the brewers sessions and talks with industry specialists.
Organized by BREW!, with support from Coimbra City Council and Coimbra Parish Union, the festival is part of the municipal strategy to enhance Mercado Municipal D. Pedro V.
